I spent the morning on Friday washing out the inside of my greenhouse and my staging giving it a good spring clean ready for warmer weather.
Unfortunately i have caught the bug i had at the start of the year off my wife and it slowed me down and i had to keep taking rests.
I managed to get it all done and just need to manure the greenhouse bed and two beds i have left ready for crops.
Jobs then left to do, dig the hole for my mini frog pond, clean out my shed then paint it, fix my wall then fit a fence to secure it more then rearrange my fruit bed ready for a large cage.
After all that i'm hoping to grow some crops.
here's a few pic's of my seedlings so far.
The progression of my allotment, after a year on the waiting list it took me a year to establish the beds i'm now ready to go....

Seed Dispenser
I have often struggled distributing my seeds evenly over the soil so decided to try using a sweetener dispenser to get a more even spread of the seeds.
Some seeds are a little small and the ones that are too big can easily be spread out evenly by hand.
Here's my video to show how i did it.
Seed time
After a few weeks of delays due to going to San Diego with work and my hernia operation i have finally managed to get some seeds going in my conservatory.
These were planted last week in a heated propergator and in pots and tubs just on my table.
here's what i got going,
courgette
rocket
beetroot
coriander
tomatillo
aubergine
broadbean
spring onion
mizuna
little gem lettuce
tomato sweet million
sweet pepper red bulls horn
chilli big jim
chilli cayenne
curly parsley
cucumber
leek
mixed sweet pea
lavender
chrysanthemum crazy daisy
dahlia mixed
gazania mixed
petunia
lobelia
convolvulus
masturtium
verbena
french marigold boy o boy mixed (to use around my beds to keep the green fly away)
In a week several of the flowers and mizuna are showing but the most impressive are the cucumbers and courgette's.
Here's a few pic's of it all so far,
And today i have planted,
welsh onion
celeriac
brussels sprout
marjoram
dill
sage
thyme
I also bought a rosemary plant because the ones i had grown have been frost damaged so i am worried i may lose them.

Waiting for spring
I heard that there had been a break in on our allotment site so i went down today to check out if my shed was one of the victims.
Luckily it wasn't mine that had been broken into so that was a relief.
I then felt guilty that i had visited without any intention on doing any work, so i decided to rake two of my beds and then to build the bed in my greenhouse, which i have done to avoid buying bags of compost every year.
My plan is to have enough manure to cope with the bed in there and to grow salad's around the taller plants.
My little snow drops have come out for the first time and also my Garlic is looking awesome.
I also put out some bird seed and fat balls.
